Best Game:Metal Gear Solid 2
This was a close race between all the great games that have been coming out including THPS3, DMC and GTA3. In the end, the story of MGS2 along with the very essence of this amazing game which bridges the Movie/Game gap. Everyone should experience this game, especially fans of the first.
Best Hardware:Network Adapter
While the DVD Remote and SharkPort were close behind, the Network Adapter is great, and for only $40 it is cheaper than its USB counterparts.
Best Genre:Action/Adventure
Don't get me wrong, my favorite genre ever is RPGs, but this year has been incredibly slow for RPGs and the next good one won't come until FFX, which isnt scheduled to come out until Dec. 26th. This year has been a great year for Action/Adventure with games like MGS2, DMC, GTA3, and so many more
