Personality follows looks, this is why looking at someone’s physical features we can just tell the type of personality he/she has. Our looks display character and the uniqueness of ourselves. Through the gentleness of Art Alexakis’ features, I am able to see and relate to the soft, warm folds of his soul, and the depths of his darkness of personality.
They say in appearance we must watch out for the deceiving eyes. However, Alexakis’ mysterious eyes are like doorways to another dimension with tenderness and malevolence on the other side. At night they look solid as if they were hiding emotional distress or unease. In the day they sparkle like a shooting star with thoughts of joy. In addition, these sometimes shooting stars and sometimes deep ravines, hold in all that cannot be expressed in simple words, but through his gaze. When I look into these deep ravines I see pain and the down side of life, in which I can relate to as can the rest of the world. When these eyes are sparkling like stars I see hope and compassion, which gives me inspiration to press on. Alexakis’ eyes hide the secrets and show the truth of life as we know it, these impressionable eyes give me motivation that there is always something to look forward to and I must never give up on my dreams.
Happiness is a privilege and smiling is an honorable notion. Furthermore, a smile reveals pure bliss and makes contentment visible. Alexakis’ smirk of a smile brightens the room and makes me feel like he knows what I am going through. His smile releases this feeling into me that makes me want to be a better person. More so, the curves of his smile bring out the thoughtfulness deep inside his heart. His good nature jumps out at me when I see the trustworthy outline of his smile and all the delight that is carried with it.
Following the smooth complexion of Alexakis from his gentle smile to his dented nose, we see that physical features have flaw, which brings distinctness to character. Likewise, the dent portrays the roughness of his life and all that he has survived. As there is a cheerfulness to Alexakis there is also a down side that is hardly seen, in this way I feel connected to Alexakis through his hidden problems. I can see the struggles that Alexakis has endured metaphorically through his dented nose, which helps me understand that it is something we all go through. These hidden flaws do not change his personality traits, but enhance their complexity.
Uniqueness in physical features makes Alexakis’ qualities his own. Through his outside I see both the strong and weak of his inside. Everyone has two sides, and without one or the other our nature would be incomplete. Alexakis’ sides show me that there will be good times and bad times, but we can overcome anything with a positive attitude; in this way he has been an encouraging role model for me. Alexakis is an amazing example of a hopeful future even though at times life gets rough. His thoughts and feelings were conveyed through his admirable exterior, and showed me how to believe in myself. I feel his motivation grow stronger and stronger, helping me everyday.
