This is about too many things to title it

This is kinda cool- I had a friend who told me about the Portland show and how she got onstage, I couldn't stop smiling. I was so happy for her. It made me think of the first time I got onstage, and how mesmerized I was when I walked off. I mean, that was the greatest feeling I could ever experience. To be up there with them, the band who I love so much. The band who makes me who I am and makes me happy.

She was so excited. I have gotten onstage before, so I know how it feels- and to hear someone talk about it makes me remember how incredibly happy I am when I am at an everclear concert. The feeling of happiness that I get when I'm there is so overwhelming. You know, there are times when I am just not happy at all- and I always find that everclear can cure that.

You know? I mean, you have a bad day, what do you go home and listen to? You have a lot of homework and you want to procrastinate so what do you do? Listen to everclear. You should be studying for a test, but you are... lisetening to everclear or talking to another everclear fan online. And when the whole world is out to get you and you just want to get lost for a while- you listen to everclear. Am I right? If I'm wrong, I don't think you are as big an everclear fan as I am, but for most true fans, I should be right on the nose.

My friend did the best thing for me today. The other night at my house was really crazy and my grandparents were yelling, I was really upset and I couldn't take it. I went into my room and put on my head phones. I listened to 8 different everclear songs (Learning How To Smile being the first), switching from cd to cd. I recently got my friend really into everclear since I took her to a concert in June- the next day I told her what happened and what I did. Today she put something in my backpack before 1rst period. When I looked in there, there was a tape player with a tape in it. I pushed play and what was it you might ask? Learning How To Smile. She had recorded all 8 of the songs I listened to the night before. It was the sweetest thing anyone had ever done for me.

She knows how much I love everclear, and the fact that she did that for me- was really great. It was so neat. Here's a list of the songs that were on the tape and that I had lisetened to the night before:

***She named the tape "Smile."

1) Learning How To Smile

2) Wonderful

3) Overwhelming

4) Song From An American Movie pt.2

5) Summerland

6) Strawberry

7) I Will Buy You A New Life

8) Why I Don't Believe In God

If you have a friend who respects and likes the fact that you love everclear, and uses it to cheer you up- don't let go. Cherish that person forever. And cherish everclear, because they aren't going to be around forever, so we need to get all of their music that we can into our system, and hold on to it... forever. When you find something that works for you- like a friend, or a band, don't give it up.

sorry if this seems long guys, I just got going and couldn't stop... ;)
