The mg42 is a horrificaly accurate machine gun, and thats why its one of the germans best guns. The mg42 is perhaps the best suport weapon in the game its fast rate of fire and deadly accuracy make it a highly formidable weapon. when using this masive gun just get behind some cover and either kneel or lay down and you will be set. The only bad thing about this gun is that you cant move while in truesight and that leaves you quite vulnerable to grenades and engineers. When fireing this weapon its often tempting to fire untill your empty but you should fire in short controled burst because you can keep some1 pinned down alot longer that way.
