Hair: Dark brown\sometimes seen as black Personally: Michael is a kind hearted boy that really puts his soul into whatever he does. The problem is he sometimes tries to hard at the wrong times or loses himself in simple pleasures and forgets about the world that Professor Lownote is trying to teach him about. All and all Michael is a very gifted oboe player but because he lacks self-confidence, his most beautiful songs are only heard by the flowers in the green house.

(The spoken voices are really soft on my old copy, so I’ve never known her name for sure) Age: Probably somewhere around 15-16. Hair: Dark blonde Personally: One of Michael’s (only, few?) friends at the music institute. She is a cheerful girl that plays lead violin in the orchestra . She gets very deeply into her music when playing, but can’t help but laugh at Michael’s bad luck sometimes. Mira tries to make him feel better outside of school but always feels overlooked and 2nd place to his love for flowers.

“How long have I been dreaming..of the day when we would finally meet...” Name: Florence Age: Looks 16-17 or so, but most likely ageless Hair: Light blonde Personally: Florence is sweet and soft spoken mostly but has quite a mischievous streak. She is a willful fairy that is not above breaking her peoples laws in the name of her love for a certain human and his music *hint, hint* but at the same time is deathly afraid of the coming winter and it’s armies of fairy eating bugs. She, just like Michael, needs a deeper meaning in life to be brave and the faith his beautiful music brings to know that spring is just around the corner..

“Don’t listen to Treble, he’s nothing but trouble!” (*Hee hee, my favorite quote of the whole movie. I always say treble like trouble:)*) Name: Treble (Clef) Age: Ageless, though he might be very young for his kind (10-12). Hair: black, skin black, eyes black Personally: Treble IS trouble! He is a playful, willful, musically inclined little monster that turns music into a game and that game into a whole fighting force of music notes. He is power hungary but after having a taste of that power doesn’t really want it that much anymore. Michael’s befriending if him helps Treble to see that even if he isn’t all powerful his powers are enough to help in the battle against the bugs...and have fun doing it!

“WELL..I don’t think Beethoven wrote that part.” Name:Proffesser Low Note Age:50 something... Hair:Black Personally: He’s a music teacher. What more needs to be said?:) He’s serious and somewhere deep down does care about his students and if they are successful. He was a friend of Michael’s parents before they died, and that is the reason why he let him into the school with high hopes for him.

The MUSIC!... Ah yes , what would this moive be without it's classic songs? In the footsteps of Fantastia, many songs were from the Nutcraker, some were stand alone classics and one was made just for the movie.
