Watch Buddy's Coat Grow!

Okay, so this is about as exciting as watching paint dry right now!! But it should be pretty neat in about 6 months when his coat has grown out . . .

This (and the picture above) was taken on October 15, 2000, which is about the time I decided to grow out Bud's coat. I decided that I would really like to have a long coat on him again, after keeping him short for a year or so. I prefer NOT to have the back clipped when he's grown out, so there's a lot of work to be done to get his coat in shape (specifically, stripping out the undercoat ).

This picture was taken in early November. If you look at his chest, you can see there is finally some fluff down there! At this point, his coat is about 1" long.



And for your amusement . . . .

He's nekkid!! How shocking!! This picture was taken after an absolutely horrible grooming job at PetSmart (yes, it was so bad we had to shave him and start over!). We then had a very cold snap (for our area), and poor Bud froze his little stumpy butt off. He spent two weeks constantly bundled in a sweater.

And finally, a picture of our "goal". This is Bud about 6 months or so after the above picture. I'd like to get his coat this length or longer!
