Hey Shadows!!
How
are we all doing?
Great, I hope!
Well, well,
well…Time sure has flown by!
The long anticipated show was last
Saturday! And
what a long day it was!
It didn’t end up being dreadfully hot,
but thanks SO much for Colonel Chefalo allowing no
helmets for part of the day.
That made the day so much nicer.
Everyone did a really awesome job drilling;
it was so exciting!
So, on behalf of Troop H, congratulations
to every single troop for looking so good!
Yay, go Blue Shadows, we’re cool!
The
day started out with inspection, which Troop H
placed 5th in.
There was definitely some tough
competition!
Throughout the day, Troop H watched most of
the other troops drill and watched equitation
classes. In
Troopers equitation, Trooper Eden Young won 7th
place. And
although our TFCs and Corporals had great
equitation, we did not receive ribbons in those
classes. In
Sergeants Equitation, 1st Sergeant
Alexa Rodriguez won 5th place and
Platoon Sergeant Morgan Young won 7th
place. In Officers Equitation, Captain Laura Steibel won 3rd
place. Good
job Troop H!!!
Troop
H was the very last troop to drill.
How we always end up that way, no one
knows; so it was fun pushing those tired horses
during our drills.
Troop H had an awesome planned drill
performed perfectly.
2nd Lieutenant Brittany Ames
drilled the planned drill without any flaws, Yay!
Captain Steibel drilled the impromptu
beautifully, which we did pretty well.
All our hard work paid off and Troop H
walked away with the blue ribbon!
So,
until next time, have fun and once again,
congratulations!
1st
Sergeant Alexa Rodriguez
