The Mighty Ducks Code!

Inspired by the DA Code...

What is the MD Code? Well, it's something you attatch to the end of your emails, to let other MD fans know all about your interests, fave characters and eps all in one glance! It's strongly based on the DA (Disney Afternoon) Code, written by Honywumpus, which covers all the DA cartoons.

Anyhow, this is just a more refined version, for Ducks fans only. It's relatively simple, and a lot of fun! So - enjoy.

Okay, at first glance it looks like complete gibberish. But read on, and you shall undertand... ;)

"MDTAS" shows that this is the Mighty Ducks: The Animated Series code, and not the DA code or somesuch.
The "WW" stands for Wildwing, "ND" for Nosedive and so on. You list each of the six main character, and then put a rating, in pluses or minuses, next to each main character initial. You can have up to four pluses or four minuses. Alternately, you can leave it completely blank, which means you're indifferent. NB: You can only have the whole 4 pluses for one character; this points out who your favourite is.
Finally, list your favourite episode, using the abbreviations shown in the list below. Save it all as a signature, and all MDTAS fans will be able to tell who likes what! The fun! ;)

How to construct your code:

ABBREVIATIONS!

The scoring system for characters is the same as that for series in the DA code - four pluses is maximum like (an can only go for one character; you can only have one favourite), and four minuses is absolute dislike. Nothing afterwards means you're neutral. To save confusion, you have to list the characters in that order, even if your least fave comes first. (like in my case...)

Finally, you put the abbrev. for your fave episode on the end. Abbreviations are below.

Now that you know the translation, you'll know it means the following: I think Mallory is ok; Duke and Wildwing is my favourite character; and I'm neutral about Tanya or Grin.

Save it as a "signature" which can then be added to the end of your emails without being retyped each time, and voila! There you have it. Have fun! ;)
