For My Son Kenny's Wedding
On July 14th, 2001 My oldest Son Kenny got married to his long time girlfriend Crystal. It had been a very long 15 years since I have been able to see my son due to a severe motorcycle accident that left me disabled for 10 years.
Thanks to a couple of friends helping me with a frequent flyer airfare ticket, I was able to go to Georgia and see my kids, and be a part of my son's wedding.

I drove to Burbank, CA from my home in Paso Robles, CA on Saturday July 7, 2001, then on Sunday the 8th, I flew to Birmingham, Alabama, boy were my arms tired. ;-)
From there I drove to La Grange, Georgia about 2 - 2½ hours. I spent the week visiting with my kids, and shopping for a wedding gift for Ken & Crystal, and taking them out for dinner all over town.
The evening of Friday, July 13, 2001 was the rehearsal, and rehearsal dinner, then Saturday, July 14, 2001 was the big day for Kenny & Crystal.
They had a very nice cerimony, and a friend of theirs, named Scarlet did an excellent job singing a beautiful song to them.
Later that evening I had to say so long to my kids, and start the return trip home. Leaving that evening was the hardest thing I have done in many years.
If you are reading this, I must have made it home safe and I am so proud of my kids that I am posting these pictures & telling you this story.
I had a great time, I would not have missed it for the world. Even though there aren't too many pictures to show for it, the time spent with my 3 kids was the best time I have spent in a very long time.
Well enough typing about the trip, on with the pictures of the three greatest kids a Dad could ever ask for, a new daughter-in-law, and some new friends, and even being able to make nice with the ex-wife, she's even in a few.
