About the Previous Page

This is a free site provided by Angelfire/Lycos and as long as I'm not paying, they reserve the right to put ads on the top of all the pages.(I have no control over that.) You know doubt noticed the commercial plug and banner at the bottom (which I put there) for "Michele-Web". When I first started learning to write HTML, Michele-Web was a beautiful web page with links to several tutorials on HTML, spacing, tables, fonts, etc. It has obviously changed. If you click on the banner now, it is a full page of commercial plugs (and Ugly!). Michele-Web was invaluable when I first started learning this stuff and now I can't even find a way to reach her to tell her thanks.

The Favorite Sites Box

The favorite sites listed there will obviously change, from time to time, as we find newer, better or more current sites that we like. The 3 that will probably have a permanent home there are: 1) Evil's Announcing - because he's a good friend and there are some good shots of him with Gov. G. Bush (before he was President), Willie Nelson, and sports figure Lance Armstrong. 2) The Ty Site - because Kathy keeps a running account of her Beanie Baby Collection and 3) Speedguide - besides being the best tweek site ever, I have met a great bunch of people. Young and old, from all walks of life, and all over the world, all are ready to help and answer questions to keep your computer in tip-top shape. Thanks SGer's.

Constructing This Site

Boy! This would be really difficult to explain. It's like learning to type all over again using different symbols. You can see what I mean if you pick any page (like this one) on the site and just right click it with your mouse. On the screen that pops up, pick "View" or "View Source" whichever your OpSys says, then left click that and you will see what I had to type out to get the page to look like it does. It's kinda fun to see the different things that happen to the actual page as you change numbers and settings and stuff. The very last page (just keep clicking next) is my test page. It has a couple of jokes on it and I'm testing different scrolling scripts and stuff.
