• An strange odor

  Every time my parents would come into my room, they would always complain about something they smell... something burning, like an electrical fire. I've always wondered what they were talking about, for I didn't smell it myself. But then one day, I happened to place my nose right above my computer monitor. There it was! The odor was coming from inside the monitor, as if there was a short circuit of some sort inside. Oh, well...

  I went to Joshua Tree to watch the Leonid meteor shower. I didn't see as many meteors as I expected. My friends and I started rating the meteors from "Whoa Factor 5 (highest)" to "Whoa Factor Pangit (ugly)". However, what I thought was fun was laying myself down on the ground to pretend I was stuck to the Earth like a paper clip hanging from a magnet. The Earth's gravity was the only thing keeping me from falling into the vast sea of stars. It made me realize how small I was compared to the universe, and yet I was reminded of how God loves me despite that. The last time I did something like that was in the middle of a dirt road at Frasier Park. The fear of cars passing by kinda ruined the moment, though.
