Okay, so Mr. Duchovny made a liar out of me. It is a good thing though because he resigned for another season of The X-Files! Well, technically he signed for half a season (about 12 episodes) and 20 million bucks!

The season closer... let's see... alien colonization is starting up again. Smoking Man was dying of cancer but got killed off before the cancer could get him. Mulder had been abducted, almost on his on free will. Skinner is now a believer and Scully is mysteriously pregnant.

This has been one of the greatest Sci-Fi shows ever, for seven years. I hate to say it... but it is getting pretty darn predictable! You heard it hear first... seein as how Duchovny is doing only half a season and is abducted... the first half of next season will be Scully, Skinner and The Lone Gunman looking for Mulder. Half way through, he will appear, not remember anything and they will spend the remainder of the season trying to figure out exactly what happened to him.

It will be easily tolerable for us die hard to the end fans but I don't know if the rest of you will be able to deal with it.
