Chapter 2

Jacinda buzzed the guys in and wasn't shocked when five handsome guys came in.

God, Jacinda control your hormones. You're here to work not fall in love. Besides, these guys wouldn't even take a second look at you.

"Welcome guys. I guess introductions are in order. I'm Jacinda Carter." Jacinda said calmly.

"Oh, well my name is JC Chasez. These guys are Joey Fatone,Chris Kirkpatrick, Lance Bass, and that's Justin Timberlake." One of the brunettes stated.

"Well its very nice to meet you gentlemen. I'll just get Johnny and we'll begin the audition. ok?"Jacinda said.

"What do you mean audition? I thought Mr. Wright was going to meet us to discuss contracts." The youngest one said.

"Justin calm down man. We can do this." JC said.
"Can I just go outside and clear my mind real quick?" Justin asked Jacinda.
"Sure. Go ahead." she answered.
How could she say not to him? He was absolutely breathtaking.

"What's wrong with him? He's the one that wants this the most out of anyone." Chris said.
"I'm gonna go and talk to him." JC said getting up.
Jacinda stopped him. "No, let me." Jacinda interrupted going out into the hallway.

She saw Justin sitting on the floor with his head buried in his hands. "Umm.. Justin?" Jacinda asked nervously.

"Jacinda right?" he asked looking at the African American girl standing near him. She nodded and took a seat next to him. "You know there's no reason to be nervous. Johnny is a really nice guy. I should know cause he's my uncle. He'll make you feel really comfortable and besides I'll put in a good word for you guys because I have a part in this whole audition process." Jacinda said to him.

"Really? How?" Justin asked.

"Well my uncle thought it might help him if he had someone young to help him with picking out his acts. So that young person happens to be me." Jacinda answered.

"Why are you being so nice? You don't even know me or the other guys." Justin asked as he began to get comfortable.

"Well..I'm not exactly high on the totem pole when it comes to having friends. I know how it feels to be treated like you're a nobody and I make it a point to be nice to everyone and treat everyone with respect." Jacinda answered sadly.

Justin gave her a sympathetic look and Jacinda smiled. "But lets get back in there. You have an audition to ace." Jacinda said as they both went in to the office.
