Indian Headband

Cut light brown strip of paper to fit around childrens heads.Have each child decorate his/her band by "stamping" shapes around the strip with sponges (cut into triangles,diamonds,etc.)dipped in tempera paint. Add feathers to the back after you staple it around each child's head.

Hand Print Turkey

Paint child's hand with tempera paint to look like a turkey. Paint thumb and palm brown. Each finger is painted a different color to look like feathers.Add a red waddle under the thumb with a red marker and draw brown feet at the bottom of palm.
