RULES & RATING SYSTEM
I hate to use the word "rules" because it reminds me of being a kid in elementry school and junior high.
Here are some simple common sense guidelines that I like to use when trading:
I CAN TRADE EITHER CD-R'S OR CASSETTES
- For Cd's please NO gaps between songs. Also, please don't send the cases- this saves money on postage.
- I prefer to use only normal bias type 1 cassettes. I have been trading bootlegs for several years and I can not hear the difference between a type 1 and type 2 cassette. I can hear a difference between them with high quality studio CD recordings, but with bootlegs it doesn't matter. But if you only use type 2 tapes let me know I'll use them.
- Please, no high speed dubbing.
- For postage use first class or airmail. If there is more than 8 tapes please use priority mail.
- I hope that we can mail the tapes out around the same day. Please don't take two, three, four, etc.., weeks to mail out your cassettes. Please don't make any stupid excuses why you can't mail your tapes out in a timely fashion. I use to go to College full time and work evenings but I never took longer than 10 days to mail cassettes out.
- Please don't mail the cassette cases. No j-cards (I can't do them) or setlists.
- Please label the cassette with the generation (if known), band name, city, venue (if known), and date.
- Please do not ask me for references because I do not give any sources out.
- I do not sell any shows on my list. Selling bootlegs is illegal.
- I will do 2 for 1's but you have to mail me minidiscs and in return i'll dub the recordings you request on either cassettes, CD's or minidiscs that you provide. Sender pays return postage.
RATING SYSTEM
EX = VERY GOOD SOUND
EX/EX- = GOOD SOUND
EX- = FAIR SOUNDING (NOISE, HISS, ETC..)
VG+ = BAD SOUND
INC = INCOMPLETE
LSC = LAST SONG CUT AT END
