subject: STATUS UPDATE FOR CASTLE PARK IMPROVEMENTS
The Project Design Section of General Services has completed the first phase of the Castle Park Improvement project. The first phase consisted of the installation of street/sidewalk improvements along Tobias Drive (Naples Street to Oxford Street) and Dixon Drive (Naples Street to Oxford Street). The following table shows the order of which the petitions were received for the proposed Assessment Districts. This order of action is in accordance with the direction that Council has previously provided.

Please note that the schedules are tentative and may have to be adjusted due to various reasons. The Public Hearing for the Assessment District formation on First Avenue (from Naples Street to Palomar Street) is scheduled for September 11, 2007. The design of First Avenue should be completed by the end of September 2007 with construction anticipated to begin in December 2007. We intend to conduct the community meeting for Glenhaven Way in October 2007.
