| Before any patrol can participate in a Troop camp out the Patrol Leader must complete the following forms. | ||||||||||
| Patrol Roster | ||||||||||
| List all Scouts going on the outing and any guests that will be eating with the patrol | ||||||||||
| Patrol Kitchen Duties | ||||||||||
| Rotate duties among all Scouts | ||||||||||
| Patrol Menu | ||||||||||
| Plan a balanced menu with enough food for all Scouts and guests eating with the patrol. | ||||||||||
| There must be one hot food item or drink served at every meal. | ||||||||||
| Patrol Shopping List | ||||||||||
| Plan your shopping list before going to the store | ||||||||||
| Keep a Cooking Notebook | ||||||||||
| Camp cooking is a skill that can be mastered by doing a lot of it. | ||||||||||
| Save the Roster and Duty Schedule, Patrol Menu and Shopping List | ||||||||||
| in a notebook. After each outing, make notes about what worked | ||||||||||
| well and what didn't. As the next outing is planned the Patrol | ||||||||||
| Notebook will remind you of changes that need to be made | ||||||||||
| REMEMBER | ||||||||||
| The Menu, Shopping List, and Duty Schedule must be approved by the Scoutmaster or | ||||||||||
| adult leader before going shopping. If the Menu, Shopping List, and Duty Schedule is not | ||||||||||
| approved, the Patrol will not be eligible to participate in the outing. | ||||||||||
