To the Wine Makers

Research and Development Glass Products and Equipment is a custom scientific glassblowing firm. We take pride in producing the quality glassware for a reasonable price. We have been manufacturing wine related glassware since our inception in 1967. Our customers range from the largest bulk wine producers to small family operations. We have worked with oenologists and wine makers to improve the existing designs and develop new ones. One such improvement is the RD 80 Volitile Acid Still, the first item in the catalog.
We manufacture very nearly everything you might need in glass. Our glasblowers are highly skilled, and we maintain a full complement of specialized glassworking equipment. Our prices are comparable to, and usually lower than those of larger laboratory glass suppliers. As we make many items to order, you are not limited to what you can find in catalogs; if you need a particular configuration you may have it.
We also repair glassware. Charges are on a pe-quoted basis or on a time and material basis. Usually it is worth repairing anything beyond the complexity of beakers and test tubes.
Our objective is to provide our customers with prompt and reliable service. Oue turnaround time is typically two to four weeks, but we are willing and usually able to accommodate rush jobs in cases of desperation. If you have questions feel free to contact us at any time.
