The Gods in their greed, has enslaved the world and the Realms that cover the lands, that lay beneath the Oceans. They, in their vain glorious egos, have turn the world of Man from paradise to a living hell. The Gods gloated and cavorted to a state of sickness and decay.

The Creator gazed upon the Gods in their fallen state, not liking what he saw, he Created the Sundering. For God and Mortal alike were to blame, none were spared, for even those who did not have faith, perished.

It Was A Dark Time Indeed For Those Who Survived The Sundering.
Then people rose from the dust & destruction. The old Gods brought the Wrath of the Creator upon them, and the land was reformed and shaped, where cities once stood, now were forest, or mountains. In some areas, the ocean receded, and in others where mountains once stood, thus mankind emerged into a new world, and as resilient as mankind was it picked up and flourished once again.

Days turned into weeks, months into years, and years into decade. Kingdoms rose and fell. The Old Gods were never seen or heard from. They were forgotten, except to Lore Masters, who hid in vast libraries, studying.

And so it was ... peace reign upon the world.
