Cooler and cloudy. A few drops of rain.
Today was nice. I got up at a fairly decent time today, and even stayed awake. I showered and came onto my computer for a while. I reread the letter that I'd written yesterday and it was total crap! It didn't sound anything like what I wanted to say.
Around 2 I had a quick brunch of a bagel and avocado, then headed out. I wanted to say goodbye to Marica. I got there and spent a bit of time wandering around. I saw many nice things, but I didn't buy anything at most stores. I bought a few things at the hundred yen shop, and then moved on to S-Mall. At S-Mall, I had a nice glass of iced coffee and re-wrote my letter. I started writing from my heart rather than from my sense of sarcasm. It was much better.
I came home and started to re-type my letter. I was home only a few minutes when Fumihiko arrived. We had a much nicer homecoming today. I got on with typing my letter and Fumihiko did some typing of his own for our holiday. We were nice and quiet for a while, then decided to go out for dinner.
Tonight we went to the tonkatsu restaurant. We had a pair meal. It was a special for two people, it was good but we had to share the tonkatsu. That wasn't fun! Still, it was nice.
We came home afterwards and relaxed again. We watched ER at 11. It was a good one, another setting up of major story lines I think. But, sadly, it won't be on again until August 20th. I wonder what they'll be running instead. Something good I hope, but I have my doubts!
And that's about it for my day. We're watching one of the Star Wars movies, the third episode. It's on WOWOW. It's okay I guess. I've seen it before, but the ending is a bit lame, as is the acting!
