July 20, 2007 - Friday

Rainy and cloudy, but clearing in the evening.

Today was okay. I didn't do anything too exciting really. I got up a little bit earlier than yesterday and took my shower early. That was a good thing.

In the afternoon I searched for a couple of sites that let you watch TV on the net. I managed to watch an episode of Heroes. I've been trying to see that one for a while as one of my friends raves about it. It was the first episode so a bit slow, but interesting.

I had brunch and watched Grey's Anatomy, then headed off to the school. It was raining a bit, so I wore my raincape.

My lesson today....Argh. The student was at his most truculent today. At one point I think he was going to hit me because I refused to keep playing a game. He didn't actually do it, but there was an evil glint in his eye. Anyway, I was glad when his family came to collect him.

I finished up, and then rode home. I knew that Fumihiko hadn't finished work yet because he'd left his cell phone at home this morning and he hadn't called me yet. Luckily the rain had stopped and the roads were quiet, so I made good time.

At home I waited around for my hubby. We didn't buy dinner fixin's tonight so I was waiting for him to take me out somewhere! I watched another episode of Heroes, but it was the end of the first season, so I have little idea what happened in between this morning's episode and this evening's!

Finally, around 10:30, my guy came home. He was very surprised to see his cellphone on the table. He thought he had lost it and had spent about an hour after work looking for it! Men! He puts it in the charger before he goes to bed and then forgets to take it out when he gets up.

We went over to M's Dining for dinner. I was worried that they might be closing soon, but there was a sign up saying that for the next month they'll be open until 3 am. So, no worries for us. We had the exact same thing, cut steak set. It was quite good too.

We came straight home afterwards and spent time on our computers. I have been surprisingly busy this evening doing moderating stuff for one of my women's groups, but will have to call it quits for the evening.

And, now that it's after midnight, I've started singing that it's Harry Day. Hurray. I hope I get my book soon. Unlike most people, I haven't reread the series in anticipation. I hope it's okay. I'd hate for J.K. Rowling to take away my Harry rights or something.

That's it for me for tonight. Have a good one! Night night.
