Sunny and warm. Nice day.
When hubby and I were going to bed last night we both made a startling discovery. We were both hungry! So, we had a late night snack and then went to bed. I defied the doctor's orders and took some Nyquill. It worked very well until 6:00 am when I woke up coughing. However, that was a good two hours more than the Japanese medicine would have let me sleep so I wasn't that upset. I managed to doze a bit more before getting up. And, wonder of wonders, there was news in English on the TV. Hurray. Sadly, it was horrible news about a massacre at a US university.
I stayed up, and decided to do some laundry. I did three loads of laundry and I showered somewhere during the day. Things were looking up. I was feeling better. Yeah.
I watched the rest of The 4400 that I had taped. It was quite interesting. It seems to be that they've combined bits from The Omen with a bad X-Files rip-off. There's a baby on the show and she seems to be quite evil! But, what do I know?
I headed off to my school in lots of time today and got busy. I had to set up for today's first class, clear up Saturday's untaught stuff and do a bit of a general clean of the school. I had just enough time.
Both classes went fairly well today, except that I sounded remarkably like a frog at the end of the day. My voice is very strained. It's all the coughing that I'm doing. I feel much better today, with the exception of my cough/throat. My sinuses above my nose feel a bit plugged up too. Bending over is quite painful, but other than all of these complaints, I feel fine!
Hubby came to get me when I finished up my classes and paperwork. We came home and then I made dinner. It wasn't anything fancy, just fried chicken and a salad, but it was nice. Oh, Hub didn't have to work really late tonight, which was a bonus for him.
We spent a quiet evening at home, we watched Monk which was cute, and then turned off the TV for the night.
And that was my day. Not exciting, but okay. Tomorrow I have two classes as well, and one of them is a brand new student. I wonder which of us will be more nervous?
