Snowy and cold. Is winter back?
We both went to bed quite late last night, so we slept in very late. I of course slept in much later than hubby. It was afternoon before I got up to stay. I showered and then we went out for lunch. We had chicken burgers at Bronco and they were fine.
After that, Fumihiko took me to a sports massage place. He's been going recently to try to have his back worked on. I've had a bit of pain in my neck recently. I had a really painful week last year, and a couple of days this year with major amounts of pain. The masseuse checked me out, and says that it isn't a bone problem, its more of a nerve problem. I got some kind of electric shock treatment which felt a bit odd, but didn't hurt. It was interesting and I would probably be okay with going back if I do have another problem. It's nice not to be given huge amounts of drugs that I never finish!
When we finished at the clinic, it was 5:30 ish and I needed to get to my school. I'd been by earlier to turn on the heater, so it wouldn't be freezing in the school. However, there had been more snow when Fumihiko dropped me off, so I had to go over and move it. I didn't really have to shovel it, I just swept it with the shovel. It was fine.
My class went well today. I thought it would be easy, but it wasn't. We talked about rhyming words. Because English isn't written phonetically, like Japanese katakana is, it's quite difficult to get rhymes by just looking at the words.
After class, I cleaned up and Fumihiko came and picked me up. We made a quick stop in the drugstore for my sweetener then went out for dinner. I had offered to cook if Fumihiko bought the stuff, but he didn't. We went to a yakitori shop that we both like. We had a nice meal. I did miss my veggies though!
We shopped after the meal and I got stuff for chicken and soup for tomorrow night. I'm going to try and make soup tomorrow.
Fumihiko went to bed around one and I should go soon too. I'm very very tired and I have a moderately early class tomorrow. It's not that early, it's just that I have to get up and organized before it!
