Sunny and humid.
I had a pretty good day today. I got up at a reasonableish (is that a word?) time and did my usual things. I even got to have some of my tandori chicken salad for my lunch as Fumihiko didn't eat it all. Yay. It was soooo good. All the good things about chicken salad and tandori chicken rolled into one.
Later in the afternoon, I went over to my school and got ready for my class. I also prepared one of the classes for tomorrow and I re-checked the other one. I also did a bit of paperwork. Yay me.
My class today went well. I started by asking him if he liked to sing and he did! Yay. The other student that I taught this to didn't really like singing at all. I felt sorry for her. At the end of class I told his Mum that we did singing and I could hear him singing the song to his Mum on his way to their car. That was so cool! He had the words right too. Double-Yay.
I changed, and called hubby to tell him I was on my way home. I planned to stop at the grocery store, and asked if there was anything he needed. When I got closer to home I realized that I'd rather go to the drugstore and I could probably get the things I needed there. I did. I had wanted to buy coffee creamers as we were nearly out. I picked up a few things for me while I was in the store. I got echinechia (spelling I have no idea), razor blades, creamers and my non-sugar chocolate.
When I got home, I got busy for a while. I cut up the zucchini I had bought a few days ago with the leftover eggplant from last week. I stirfried them, and then Fumihiko made ginger-pork. Apparently he'd done the marinading when he came home from work. We had that with a salad and it was yummy. The stirfry was good. I'd forgotten that I have onions in the fridge, but actually I think it was fine the way it was. Fumihiko's ginger pork was really good. Normally I don't like ginger very much, but this was nice.
After dinner he took a bath and I did the dishes. We settled in to watch this week's Monk and then I came to my computer. Monk was a bit "oogly" for me this week. It was about a dentist and there was a scene that was very "Marathon Man". In fact, I had just mentioned that movie to Fumihiko when the dentist asked Monk if he'd seen Marathon Man! Argh.
Fumihiko has gone off to bed now and I should follow suit. I've got to get up earlier tomorrow as my classes start in the afternoon. Wish me luck eh! Night.
