Rainy and dull day.
Before I went to bed last night I set my alarm. I swear I did. But, this morning when I woke up hours after it was supposed to ring, I realized that it also has a day function, and I hadn't set it for Sunday. That is my excuse for oversleeping today, and I'm sticking to it! So there.
I didn't do too much today. I did computer stuff in the early part of the day, then ate and read more of my book in the afternoon.
When Fumihiko came home I made him a cup of coffee, but he fell asleep before he drank it. He had a long nap on the couch. He slept for about 4 hours.
I wasn't too upset with him, I had my own things to do then. For some reason, my computer crashed again and I had to go and fix it. It took a long time. I also have had trouble with my modem. The ADSL light keeps flickering when I'm on line. It isn't really supposed to do that.
I finished my novel today too. It was great. It was a huge book that took me most of the month. Over a thousand pages of densely written fiction, complete with fascinating footnotes, I really enjoyed this book. Jonathan Strange & Mr Norrell was a engrossing read. I loved it.
When my dear hubby woke up, we went out for dinner. Tonight we went to Coco's. Unfortunately they were out of the first dish we wanted, so we had to examine the menu and choose again. I drank rather too much coffee at the drink bar. Sigh. I'll have to get my own cappuchino machine I think!
We came home and just relaxed a bit at home. Fumihiko took a bath and I am glued to my computer chair. Ha! Well, not really, but I'm sure my hubby thinks so.
I'm off now. I'm not sure what we'll do tomorrow. I'll talk to you later about that. Night.
