Snow and cold.
An okay day today. I got up at a good time, but took my nap on the couch! I didn't want to get up after that. When I dragged myself off the couch I did my stuff and managed to leave almost on time. I was walking in the apartment complex when I looked at my watch. It said that it was 10:40, but I knew it was after 11:15. What had happened? I reset it and it seemed to keep going all day. I probably need to get a new battery again.
The walk to work was okay, but not great. It was snowing and some of the ice was covered and I couldn't see it. However, some of the way was fine. I made it in time to work but discovered that the elevator was being inspected! I had to walk upstairs with my heavy backpack. Poor me!
Today went well. I had to run a test for some women who were trying out to be teachers. The first step is a written test. They had tests in Chinese and one poor lady had a test in Korean too. Two hours of tests! Yuck.
In the evening part of my workday, I had 4 lessons in a row. They went quite well actually. After work, I prepared for my kids class tomorrow. The lesson plan is done of course, but I had to prepare my room. I take the heater out, move in extra chairs and put name cards out for them. If I let them sit where they want then there is total chaos!
Fumihiko picked me up and we went to Cocos for dinner. After dinner we went to the grocery store. I bought some veggies for the slow cooker. I'm going to prepare tomorrow's dinner in the morning.
When we came home I prepared the veggies and then opened up my lovely computer. That was my day so far. It was okay.
