Snowy and cold.
This morning poor Fumihiko couldn't drive to work. His battery was flat and he couldn't get the car started. He did ask a neighbour for a boost, but the neighbour didn't have time. Sigh. He called a taxi and went to work that way.
On the other hand, I had a good day. I got up with Fumihiko a little and then when he left, fell asleep on the couch. It was darn cold there, even wrapped up in blankets. I showered later, prepared the chicken for dinner, started the slow cooker and then left for work.
Today I made it in time. Even though there was more snow today, it wasn't as icy. The snow was really deep though and it was difficult crossing the road in places.
I wasn't very busy at work again, but I prepared for today's classes and read the paper.
After work Fumihiko came to pick me up, by this time he'd got the car to work. We came home and ate a lovely dinner of chicken and veggies courtesy of the slow cooker. I had hoped to have leftovers for work tomorrow, but we both had seconds and so there wasn't any left over! It was really good. Even though Fumihiko didn't stir it or check it, it wasn't over cooked. I'd also browned the chicken this morning which seemed to make it taste better tonight.
After we ate, Fumihiko washed the dishes and then we watched some English TV that I taped today. It wasn't anything that great, but it was nice to watch it in English.
And that's my day. It was quite nice. I enjoyed it.
