Hot and sunny, with some rain and a thunderstorm.
An okay day. Fumihiko got up early this morning and took our bikes to Sakata to get them fixed. I got up and did my laundry.He came back and then we went out for lunch.
We went to Mikawa to our French restaurant. We had a lovely meal of roast duck. Our starter was cold pumpkin soup. Yum. It was so good.
We went to the mall and I bought something. I finally got a blender and a kakigori machine. That's a machine for making shaved ice. It's good in summer...like a snow cone.
We came home for a bit and then headed out to Fumihiko's party. There was a party at his workplace tonight, and I was actually invited. It was okay, except during our meal we had a downpour. Everyone had to race inside! There was a real thunderstorm then. It passed soon. After a while they played a game of bingo, but as everything was in Japanese I didn't understand anything. Fumihiko did rather well though. After that we left the party.
We went to Mosburgers for a quick bite. While we did that, we took some pictures of frogs outside the window. I'll put them on flickr for you to see, I think.
We went to karaoke for about 3 hours and had a great time. It was fun.
We came home and now we're watching Field of Dreams. It's very cool. I'm not sure what it is about Kevin Costner and Baseball movies, but they just go together. I miss his movies. He needs to make more!
