Sunny and hot, gorgeous day.

I had a great couple of days! Michelle and I hacked around Edmonton and I shopped up a storm. I got a lot of stuff that I really needed though, so it's hard to stop myself sometimes. I may have to hire my own airplane to get all of my stuff back to Japan though. I just can't get things like undies and nice work clothes in Japan. Well, I can, but they are too expensive and not usually available in my little town.

Michelle and I did some serious girltalking and it was fun. One thing I really miss about living so far away is someone to talk to about things...to get another perspective on stuff.

After Michelle left me at Van's, I showed Van and Katie my new clothes and we all got dressed to go out. There was a reception at the museum that we wanted to go and see. Well, for me, I just wanted to see the museum, but Van had to go as part of her job. Katie had never been to the museum before either. After the boring speeches were over, we explored! Katie had a great time. Every room brought her something interesting. It's hard to know what she liked the best, the animal exhibits or the bugs, rocks or the Aboriginal displays. It was all really interesting. Some of it had changed since I'd seen it last too.

When we came back I cooked my dinner. I had chicken, some veggies and the rest of my veggies from the other night. It was really nice. I came downstairs to do email and jammed the computer! Joe told me how to fix it, and so here I am....writing to you. Well, that's all for me for tonight. Tomorrow I'm off to Old Strathcona to go to my dentist for a check up. It'a a bit scary. Wish me luck!

Night night.
