October 19, 2001 - Friday
A not too bad day, except my darling is sick. He went to the hospital today and has
to go back tomorrow. I told him he'll have to give up smoking! I hope the doctor
tells him that anyway.
I only had 6 lessons today, and the highlight was seeing a student that I'd had over
a year ago, very shy and not confident in her abilities for her final class. She
went on a homestay in the US for 9 or 10 months and came back a changed girl. She
speaks English like an American teenager. And now she's confident and much more outgoing.
Yay! I love success stories like that.
When I came home tonight I was a little early, before 11 pm. That was nice. And,
I didn't wake up everyone either. Well, it isn't me that wakes everyone up, I promise,
it's the dog! He wakes up everyone. Tonight he didn't make any noise when I came
home. Hurray!
What else? I don't know. Not much really. My entries these days are short, but
I'm so busy at work and then when I come home I want to spend time with my hubby.
