August 26, 2001 - Sunday
A very annoying day! Remember yesterday when I said that I wanted to sleep in? Well,
I tried. However, my idiotic boyfriend decided to call me at 10 am, and then hung
up when he got the answering machine. Then, he called back after 12, twice! I don't
get it. It's the one and only day that I get to sleep in and he has to go and ruin
it for me. I'm going to have to speak to him quite strongly about that.
After being rudely awakened twice I got up and did laundry. While I did laundry I
watched a movie that one of my students loaned me called Magnolia. It had Tom Cruise,
Julianne Moore, Jason Robards, John C. Reilly, and a bunch of other interesting people. While I watched I actually did some mending and sewing on of buttons, so it was
quite productive time.
I ended up going out for groceries later on because I haven't done that in a while.
I discovered that the local grocery has improved quite a bit lately. It's much cleaner
and nicer now. I bought a few groceries including things for supper.
I came home and watched the other movie on the tape, The Cider House Rules. It was
interesting. I'm glad that I didn't pay a lot of money to see it though, but it was
good. Now, I'm watching the tail end of Fiddler on the Roof, but I want to check
for other things.
A boring day in a way, but nice because I needed some R&R. Oh, and I did finally
forgive my boyfriend! He just wanted to talk to me, that's all!
