August 17, 2001 - Friday
Well, a different day today. It was still hot, and I was moderately busy, but I felt
a little better.
I had a pretty good run of classes today. Even was happy with the children's lesson
that I taught today. It was fun. I think I'm getting more comfortable teaching children.
Or maybe it's this class. There's a new student and she's a little sweetie. She's terribly shy and doesn't speak very much yet, but she's game for everything!
I went out and bought sushi for my lunch today. It was nice to get out for a few minutes
from the office. It was pretty good sushi, but I still miss Tsuruoka's sushi!
I did a bit of prep for tomorrow's classes, I hope I'm ready!
I also did something unusual for me. I belong to a group called Digital Eve and I
get a digest of messages every night. Well, last night there was a query about web
logs, so I answered it. It was kind of cool. So far, I'm the only one who did answer
it, but maybe other people will respond too. I don't know why but I didn't realize
that other people do this too. Of course I know that Susan does occasionally, and
Chris does too, but I thought I was breaking ground. Oh well. There's lots of room
on the web for everyone.
Anyway, it's around 1 am and I'm really tired. I haven't had an early night in weeks,
so I may be able to sneak off and get some sleep, if I'm good.
