August 1, 2001 - Wednesday
Today was a pretty busy day. It should have been busier, but one of my students cancelled.
I was quite happy about that!
I ordered lunch in today, it was nice but it might have given me a bit of an upset
stomach. It was quite spicy.
Not much happened again today. I don't have a lot of things to say.
I managed to leave the office around 10:00 pm. That was nice. I was glad not to stay
late.
I got an email yesterday from an old classmate in Scotland. He's off in the United
Arab Emirates. It's pretty cool that you can find people all over the world, and
scary too!
The Gas Man did come this morning. He kept talking to me in Japanese so I have no
idea what he said. It was a little annoying because I think it was obvious that
he knew I couldn't understand. I said yes a few times and nodded and he seemed happy.
