Lake District and Glastonbury

This is just above the Lake District - Castlerigg is thought to be one of the oldest stone circles in England - built around 3200 BCE. Amazing. The energy in that circle is overpowering. I spent much time just taking it all in.

Sweetest trio of horses that greeted us every time we walked back and forth over the couple days we were in the Lake District. They nuzzled, whinnied and otherwise "spoke" to us constantly. We asked the owner if we could feed them carrots and she was so very nice about it. The horses were gentle and sweet as we fed them, and minded their manners. I guess the British etiquette extends to their animals too LOL.

The Chalice Well at Glastonbury Tor. This is the bottom of the spring. It's a peaceful place and Tim and I spent far more time than planned just feeling the serenity, drinking the water and enjoying a bit of sunshine that seemed to poke it's way through the clouds just for this day. I feel the God/desses were watching out for us :-)
