The Donkey Sanctuary in Sidmouthe, Devon was a real treat! The organization takes in abused and unwanted donkeys and gives them a permanent home with food, vets care and love. Tim and I ended up adopting this charity as one of our favorites. We receive their newsletter, also. The views from atop the Glastonbury Tor were breathtaking. Yes, we actually hiked all the way to the top - even being sick wasn't going to keep me away. Tim coaxed me along the whole way :-) We decided that we'd like to return to the area again and spend more time in the Chalice Well gardens at the bottom and atop the Tor itself.
