Even More One Time Guests

Listed here are brand new guests and guests appearing for the first time or second time on Phil Hendrie's Show.

New Phil Guests

Professor Robert Leonard

Professor Robert Leonard is a sociology professor at Coolidge College in Trenton New Jersey. He was a guest on Phil's show to talk about the disappearance of Corey Erving, Dr. J's son. Leonard felt that the boy had been kidnapped by the NBA and NBC. It was designed to try and raise ratings for the 2000 NBA Finals which are down since NY is not playing against the Lakers. Leonard said it indicated how racist the NBA and NBC were. He had asked that all players boycott the Finals but only Kobe Bryant agreed to do that. Leonard's first appearance was on June 14, 2000.

Dean Wheeler

Dean Wheeler is the public relations guy for the Kentucky Tobacco Farmers Alliance. He has brought an old Kentucky tobakki truck to California to help push cigarettes and overcome the damage from the recent lawsuit the tobacco companies lost in Florida. The tabkki truck will be in various malls around southern California. Wheeler wants people to come visit the truck and try their free cigarettes. Even children can come but they need an adult's permission to smoke. But Wheeler even admitted that he can give the kids permission. A shocked listening audience called in their disgust with Wheeler's ideas. Wheeler first appeared on the show in July 2000.

Colleen Kristin Brewster

Colleen Kristin Brewster owns and operates On The Go with Colleen Travel Agency in Costa Mesa CA. She was a guest on the show to discuss the incident of gang groping in Central Park in New York City on June 13, 2000. Colleen could not believe that the ladies that were groped, stripped and robbed in Central Park got all upset. Colleen said everyone knows that NY boys are aggressive and that is part of the charm of NYC! And what is a coped feel among friends?? And as for the missing money, it probably fell out of their pockets. Needless to say, callers were as irate as have been on the show in some time.

Colleen’s fiancé Neil gave her a 2-carat platinum setting engagement ring - it was embarrassing, it wasn’t what she wanted. She wanted a 3-½ carat, Tiffany setting with baguette, Harry Winston diamond, and gold band. She went to his best friend Tim for comfort, and they made sweet beautiful love (Tim licks like a one year-old cocker spaniel). “Neil gave me a 2 carat ring, but Tim gave me a 2 ½ carat mushroom head”. When talking to a listener, Colleen asked, “Does your fiancé go down brown toad road?”

Colleen first appeared on the show June 7, 2000.

Sister Josephine

Sister Josephine is a Cuban Catholic nun from Miami. She called Phil to tell him that Elian Gonzalez, the six year old Cuban boy in the international bruhaha, was actually the savior for the Cuban people. Rolling bones, she foretold of his crucifixion on his return to Cuba to redeem the Cuban people. Like Jesus, Elian had kinda walked on water. Callers were incensed with this woman and expressed their views on her abilities...although it appears that she brainwashed Phil so that he just repeated what she said. Fortunately Bud Dickman slapped the voodoo out of Phil!

Orville James Simpson

Orville J. Simpson was suing a local LA Chinese restaurant because he almost choked to death while eating a cookie offered him after dinner. He was shocked to find out that they put paper in the center of the cookie (the fortune!!)and he choked trying to eat the paper. Had it not been for Chou Lai, a kitchen helper who performed CPR on him, he would have died. The only benefit Simpson got from the experience was that he and Chou Lai now live together!

Stan Workman

Stan Workman is the headmaster of Delaney Forrester High School in Portland Oregon. He was a guest discussing high school hazing issues. At Delaney Forrester HS, the seniors haze the freshman during Stan Workman Week. Activities include wrestling, steam baths, communal showering with photographs, communal meal, a dance and a trust encounter. Both the boys and the teachers wear either jock straps or completely nude. The entire day is photographed to protect the school and ensure that no one is injured. The dance is either in the mosh pit or the boys pair off. One can imagine the callers' reaction to this school's activities.
