The Pictou Advocate, Wednesday, May 25, 1988 -
Robert Marcus Robinson, 68, Sonora, Guysborough County,
died Friday, May 20, in St. Martha's Hospital, Antigonish.
Born in Halifax, he was a son of the late
Capt. Joseph and Annie (Quinn) Robinson.
He was a member of Sonora United Baptist Church,
and a veteran of the Second World War.
Prior to his retirement in 1968, he was emplopyed
as a dredge operator with J.P. Porter Co. Ltd., Halifax.
He is survived by his wife, the former Inez Harpell;
two sons, including William, Abercrombie;
three daughters, eight grandchildren; a great-granddaughter.
Funeral was held Monday, May 23, at Sonora United Baptist Church,
Rev. Barry Dixon officiating.
Burial in Riverside Cemetery, Sonora.
Donations may be made to Sonora United Baptist Church.
