Bessie Hartling

Hartling, Bessie – 74, Halifax,
formerly of Goldenville, Guysborough County,
died Sunday at the Victoria General Hospital.
Born in Roachville, she was a daughter of
the late Gordon and Mary Ann (Cook) Peart.
She is survived by a daughter, Maria (Mrs. Bill Archibald), Ontario;
five sons, Albert, Donald, James, all of Antigonish; Gordon, Dartmouth,
Eddie, Halifax; three sisters, Mary Hilchie,
Halifax; Frances, Cooks Cove; Effie Munroe,
Baileys Brook; seven grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her first husband,
John Gail; her second husband, William Statchooke;
her third husband, Harvey Hartling; a brother, Robbie;
a sister, Margaret. The body is at Veinotte’s Funeral Home,
Sherbrooke, visiting 10-12 p.m. Tuesday, from where
funeral will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, Rev. David Hayward officiating.
Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Sherbrooke.
