DENVER - Roy Gabriel Helin, 27, of Denver, Guysborough County,
died following a motor vehicle accident at Goshen Lake Sunday.

Born in Crossroads Country Harbour,
he was a son of Mrs. Lillian (Cooke) Gillis, and the late Walter Helin.

He was a woodsman most of his working life.

Surviving besides his mother are his wife, Carolyn;
a daughter Kathy;
three sons, Roy, Walter and Daniel, all at home;
eight sisters, Sonja (Mrs. Alex Taylor), Gladys (Mrs. Douglas Reeves) both of Lochaber;
Eileen (Mrs. Malcolm McDonnell), Mrs. Blanche MacEachern, and Rosena, all of Judique;
Florence (Mrs. Kenneth Holmes), and Carla, both of St. Stephen's, N.B.;
Margaret (Mrs. Gary O'Conner), Boyleston;
six brothers, Gabriel, Raymond, Edison, Michael and Ronald, all of Lochaber;
Gunner, Judique.

The body will be at Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Country Harbour Mines, after 6 p.m. today,
where funeral will be Wednesday at 2 p.m.,
Rev. Robert Petite officiating.
Burial will be in the church cemetery.
