Obituary

BRUNTON, Marjorie Lewis –
died November 11, 1999, at home.
Born in Montreal, she was a daughter of
the late D. Sciater Lewis and Evelyn Ross Lewis.
Educated at Kings Hall School, Compton, Que.
and McGill University graduating with honours in history.
During the Second World War she served with the VAD
of the Red Cross and was attached to Camp Debert Hospital.
She was a member of the United Church of Canada.
She is survived by husband Lauder;
son James and wife Beverley, Toronto;
daughter Nancy and husband Ian, Burlington;
brothers David, Calgary; John, Toronto;
grandsons Douglas and Robert; granddaughters Jennifer, Melanie, Sonya.
Cremation has taken place.
A memorial service will be held at Wesley United Church,
Guysborough on Saturday, November 27, at 2 pm,
Rev. Shelagh McCulloch-Taylor officiating.
A reception by the family will be held
in the church hall following the service.
Family flowers only.
