it's amazing
in a matter of days
going from
thinking your life will never go anywhere
to thinking you've found something good
to thinking of raising a baby that isn't yours as your own
to hoping that baby will be ok
to knowing that it won't be
to hoping its mother will be ok
to knowing you've found a good thing
to knowing life can still go somewhere
while a small life not yet lived ends
a love not yet loved begins
in a matter of days
