This HURTS!
Well, this is my MOOK! This hideous picture was taken some time back in late '98 at a bedouin village in the middle of the Omani dessert. Having more alcohol than brains, my cohort and I abandoned our previous camp insearch of.. well... another camp. So off we went into the night. Over mountains of sand toward.. who knows! All that mattered was that our trusty glow stix were burning brightly. Suddenly, as despair began to sink in we heard music. One more dune had hidden away the last camp, whereupon we entered and were seated. We ate and drank some more and danced with the belly dancers in all their splendor. When all was said and done. He got the girl and as usual... I GOT THE BIRD! }:0)~ (Peregrine Falcon as it was.)
The gold souq (sook) in Jebel Ali in the United Arab Emirates. This and the first picture you saw were taken within a few days of each other. This pic doesn't do justice to the experience of actually being there!!
When all else fails...
Hachimantai Forrest, Japan. Late Feb, 2000. This was the easy part. Jump and let gravity do the rest, right? Uhh... no. If you can't do something right, at least look good when you mess up! It's a good thing you can't hear the audio from this one. Sounded kind of like "Chhheeese and RIIIICCCEEE!!"
