- Vince McMahon kicked off the show with an interview. He said he would
beat Stone Cold Steve Austin in their match at In Your House: St. Valentine's Massacre, where the winner would get a WrestleMania XV Heavyweight Title shot. He announced the match of Kane and Chyna vs.
Triple H and X-Pac for the 2/14 PPV. He also announced Mankind and Stone Cold Steve Austin would go one-on-one on a special 2/13 Raw is War, which will be taped from the Sky Dome in Toronto, Ontario, Canada on 2/8.
- Luna defeated Jacqueline with a DDT, after D-Lo Brown distracted Jackie. Sable did color commentary.
- Too Much defeated The Oddities (Golga and Kurrgan), with help from The Disciples of Apocalypse.
- The Godfather defeated Ken Shamrock by Countout or Disqualification, after Shamrock ran back to the locker room once he saw his sister and Val Venis on the Titan Tron.
- Triple Threat Tag Team Match: Owen Hart and Jeff Jarrett defeated D-Generation X (Hunter Hearst Helmsley and X-Pac) and D-Lo Brown and Mark Henry, to retain the Tag Team Titles. ... D-Lo and Henry got eliminated first, after Jarrett and Hart used one of the Tag Team Titles on D-Lo. DX lost to the Tag Team Champions after Chyna ran in and low-blowed Triple H. It was supposed to be a fatal four-way with The Big Bossman and Test included, but a reason wasn't given to why they weren't
in it.
- Billy Gunn and Val Venis went to a No-Contest, after Ken Shamrock interfered, and hit Venis with a chair. Gunn then ran after Shamrock. Shamrock did color commentary, so he was around the ringside area the entire match.
- The Big Bossman defeated D-Lo Brown, when PMS distracted the referee to prevent D-Lo from winning.
- The Undertaker did another gimmick ceremony, with Mabel as the newest member.
- Handicap Match: The Brood defeated The Ministry of Darkness (Mabel and Minion) by Disqualification, after The Acolytes ran-in. They tried to hang Gangrel with a rope.
- Debra McMichael did an interview, until Mark Henry started to flirt with her. Jeff Jarrett and Owen Hart popped out and attacked Henry.
- Droz defeated Kurrgan. Droz used a baseball bat for his win. The Oddities received a huge pop and had the crowd going along with them.
- The Blue Meanie came out dancing. Goldust gave him the Shattered Dreams.
- Jesse James and Al Snow vs. The Acolytes resulted in a No-Contest. ... Both teams took it outside of the arena. A fan threw a beer on Bradshaw, and Bradshaw reacted with a punch. Three druids interfered, and revealed themselves as The Brood. The Brood joined The Ministry of Darkness, as they attacked James and Snow. {So Much for what Edge said in his interview}
- Mankind won the Heavyweight Title on the Halftime Heat Taping (see below for further results and information). He did an interview, where he and The Rock exchanged arguments. The Rock's voice kept cracking, and he said he was going through puberty (a lot should be edited). Mankind decided to give The Rock another Heavyweight Title shot at In Your House: St. Valentine's Massacre in a Last Man Standing match.
- Hunter Hearst Helmsley defeated Kane in a Steel Cage Match. ... X-Pac ran down during the match to prevent Kane from climbing out, while Chyna helped Kane keep Triple H inside the cage. Triple H eventually knocked out Chyna and took the win.
* NOTES - At the end of Heat, Triple H had this one woman take off her top at least four times. A few others chickened out.. ... No wrestling from Stone Cold Austin or Mick Foley.. ... Tucson crowd was tired by the end of show (11:30pm). Vince needs to start these TV tapings at least at 7:00pm, if not 6:30 pm. Kids were sleeping and by the end of Heat, 20% of the arena was empty. ... Only show in over a year to sell out was this RAW. There were approximately 7,000.
