The Hidden Memory

-First off, it's written by Justin Monjo (the Flax, Human Reaction), who I'm convinced is like the Grand J/A Shipper.

-When Aeryn finds out the Peacekeepers have John, she doesn't waste a second in deciding to go after him, even though she's clearly still suffering pysically.

-You can fight me on this, and I know someone will, but I'm still not convinced that John was just protecting Gilina. Granted, when she told him to remember the kiss, he said he would block the memory, but it's just assumed he was protecting her the whole time. My reasoning: does he remember the Flax or Human Reaction? We don't see anything about that in his memory, and the shipper that I am, I'm choosing to believe that he's blocking that.

-When Aeryn hears that John is protecting Gilina, take a look at her face. Aw... =(

-"That is the radiant Aeryn Sun." Officially now one of my favorite lines, and again, watch Aeryn's face when he says that. And then they both have to check to make sure the other is okay...

-See, even Gilina sees it. When she asks him if he wants to be with Aeryn, he doesn't answer. But she knows it, and if Aeryn hadn't picked that second to come back (of all the bad timing...), I think he would have told Gilina the truth.

-John makes his choice. When he finds out Gilina isn't going with them, he goes with Aeryn instead of going back to find Gilina- which she gets to see.

-Even the final scene. A John/Gilina scene. I made it shippy. So she definitely knows that he doesn't love her, even before she tells him she loves him and he doesn't say it back (good boy, John). She knows it. And honestly, I don't think the last scene would have taken place the way it did if she wasn't about to die. I think the reasons John kissed her, why he said what he said, was because she knew she was going to die. And I honestly think the last scene would have been drastically different if Gilina didn't probably have a huge hole in her chest right about then...
