Truly, the first shippy episode. Okay, I give you this much- Gilina does start it off. (Still hate her, though.)
-The entire time John's hitting up on Gilina (and vice versa), we get to see quite a bit of JealousAeryn. Which was good.
-When John and Gilina are walking down the hall, Aeryn moves from behind to go between them, separating them. Hm, I wonder why...
-"She's not a traitor. Not by a long shot." Although John spends practically the entire episode defending Gilina from Aeryn (grumble, grumble), at least he puts in a good word for her. =)
-Well, after Aeryn finds John and Gilina kissing (blech), John goes after her and tries to explain. And she tells him that she used to find him... "interesting. But only for a moment."
-"It's good to know we're on even terms." You know, following Aeryn's confession, I think John may be admitting to a little interest himself. (People have debated this with me. I'm a shipper. I can make anything shippy if I want it to be shippy.)
-I'm not sure that the final scene is entirely shippery. But it is a big John/Aeryn moment, so I'm mentioning it. He now sees what Aeryn's gone through to end up here, and Aeryn realizes that John fears exactly what she just experienced on the Zelbinion. So it all works.
