by Dani Royer
Summary: A poem from Aeryn's POV. From "A Human Reaction".
Disclaimer: They ain't mine. I don't mention them by name, but in case you're wondering, they belong to someone else. So don't sue me :-)
Rating: G
Archive: Only my site (The Un-Named Anomaly) and Jill's site (The John and Aeryn Oasis). Everyone else, please ask.
Poet's Note: I'm in the "nothing happened beyond the kiss" camp, but I think they could have possibly fallen asleep (as in "ZZZZzzzzZZZZzzzZZZZ") together or held each other for a while.

Just lying here in your arms
Makes the pain seem less there
Soothing my mind as I rest
I wonder if I could ever belong here
I want to believe that as long as I'm with you
I'll always have a place
Given what I've seen
I doubt my hope is true
Even if I die tomorrow
I would have belonged
I belong here
In this moment
Just lying in your arms
