Holy recycled plot, Batman! Okay, I loved this episode, but if any of you ever watched seaQuest second season, they used this on there! Any seaQuest fans out there? I don't think there are, so I'll just shut up and save that for my review on the page.
I swear, Aeryn can be the role model for bitches everywhere sometimes. Which is SO cool. Before we were looking to Cordelia Chase and Quinn Morgendorffer for guidance, and now we have someone much cooler, and with an accent!
And I get to see non-scary, actually-doing-something Zhaan for once. And she's in mommy mode, too. Which is very cool. It's about time I got to see that. And I only had to watch four episodes before I saw it.
Okay, how hysterical was John when he jumped up on the ledge when he saw the Drax (sp?)? The look on his face was just classic, and he was so cute... Sigh. Who wants to get me a Ben for Christmas? (Yep, still in Christmas mode.)
Is it me or do the Drax look kinda sorta like little ugly living DRD's on crack? You know, when Zhaan said they had John's DNA, all I could think was that they should have looked much better...
Aw, how sweet! He's worried about her! Shippiness, yay!
I finally got the see the kick-ass Aeryn! Even if she was a clone. And even if she was beating on John. Still. I finally got to see her really fight, that's something.
I love D'Argo. Seriously, he's way too cool. I love his thing about cutting off the tip of their finger, and he almost looks disappointed when John comes up with that spraying the hand thing.
Did anyone ever see the movie Ticks? It's this really bad movie from 1993 (Seth Green, woo hoo!) about a bunch of people that go camping and get attacked by mutant ticks. When Rygel's by that hive, that was the first thing I thought, that he'd stepped into an MST3K-able movie...
"Is that too many letters for you? Try hive!" Um, last I knew, nest and hive had the same amount of letters...
And I absolutely love how D'Argo reacts to hearing that Zhaan's missing. And yet it's Aeryn that he goes after. I just really liked the way everyone gelled together. Everyone actually seemed pretty worried about how everyone else was. Except for maybe Rygel.
Check it out, it's Dopplegangland! Okay, that's the third thing this episode has reminded me of. When John's fighting his clone guy, all I could think was how Willow reacted to seeing Evil Willow... I need to spend so much less time in front of the TV.
Wow, is that what passes for PK makeup fashion? The eyebrows freaked me out! Okay, yeah, Peacekeepers storming Moya, blah blah blah their eyebrows distracted me! Eep.
Aeryn, eep! Oh my God, Claudia is my hero, I swear. I felt so bad for her, my brother (he was watching with me) thought I was going to like completely spaz. He kept turning to me saying, "Natalie, she lives." Yeah, I know she lives, shut up. I can spaz if I want to, dammit!
Side note, the whole promising to kill her thing reminds me of something I read in a SW book... Now I have to give up reading, too...
"I won't let it happen." AAAAAHHHHHH!!!!! Guys.... AAAAAAHHHHH!!!!!!
I love shippiness. Love it love it love it. That whole scene on the terrace was just way too cool, I swear. And he never promised! Because you KNOW he wouldn't have been able to do it. And.... AAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!!!!
I need to go work on my page now...
-Natalie
