Don't leave me
After everything you've told me
After all you've asked me to believe
You can't leave
Not now
Not here
Not after you've told me I could be more than I am
And certainly not after I've begun to believe that it could be true
I once thought that all I could be was a solider who would follow orders,
live and die at the hands of others without a question passing through my
lips
But once you told me that I could be more then a solider, more than a pawn
in a life I have no control over
I believed you
I stood up for you
I began to believe I could have a life beyond my peace keeper training
God, I actually believed I could have a life on earth with you
A life where I could be happy and have a life beyond Moya, beyond these
territories
but I'm so scared that it won't work
that I won't know be happy, or that I won't know how to be
so now when you ask me to come with you, I can't
I'm a peace keeper solider and I'm afraid to leave this ship
So as I watch you walk away all I want to do is scream at your back
And ask you to stay here with me
but the uncertainty of what you would say scares me too much
and I don't want to be scared anymore.
