DISCLAIMER: So sue me if it's not in the right order. Don't own them, I
can wish for it as a Christmas present but well it's not gonna happen.
Hey Santa, are you out there? I want Farscape for Christmas! Oh shoot,
this will do. All characters are owned by TPTB.
RATING: How'd I know, I still have to write the darn thing! Knowing me,
probably save for all ages, but not for the sane minds.
SPOILERS: Uhm, the Premiere? I dunno, haven't seen much.
SUMMARY: The idea was to let Crichton have a bad mood, as the title
says, but hey, what can I say. The characters changed the plot. Darn it,
I hate it when Crichton does that. So I have absolutely no idea what is
gonna happen.
ARCHIVE: Yeah, sure. Just tell me where you put it. Hihi, if you want
it…
FEEDBACK: yes, I'd like that... include christmas presents please...

John was sitting at the dinner table, staring at his food-cubes. He
hadn't even notice Aeryn coming in. He was deep in thought, hoping he
could find a way home. So far, his mind hadn't found one solution. He
had spent only a few weeks, or weekens or how they called it here, on
board of Moya. He missed his friends, his kind. Yeah, Aeryn might look
like a human, but she was a Sebacean. A Peacekeeper. A person who could
kick his butt any day. He didn't look up when she sat down in front of
him with her own plate of food-cubes.
"What are you doing?" she asked. "Waiting for them to come alive and
attack you?"
"Don't mock me, Aeryn." John said and got up, disposing his cubes in the
waste bin.
"I do not mock, you mock." She said at his back as he left the room.
John didn't know why he had said that to Aeryn. Maybe because he thought
they saw him as a puny excuse of a life form, or maybe because… he
didn't know. Aeryn rarely joked with him, it was mostly the other way
around. And now she starts a conversation and he walks away? He didn't
know what was wrong with him. He turned around and walked back to Aeryn,
hoping she hadn't left the room yet.
She looked up from her food-cubes as John entered the mess again. He sat
down in front of her and looked at her. She stared back at him for a
while, then looked back at her food.
"Aeryn?" he said after a while.
"Yes?" she said, not looking up from her food.
"What do Sebaceans do when they are bored?" he asked. Aeryn finally
looked up.
"We're never bored. I mean as a Peacekeeper I was never bored." She
said.
"Oh…" John said and looked at Aeryns food.
"What oh… What do you do when you're bored?" she asked, eating her
food-cubes.
"We… do stuff…"
"Stuff?"
"Yeah, you know. Catch a movie, play games, whatever…" John said. He
laid his head on the table and stared at a wall.
"John…"
He looked up.
"Are you telling me you're bored?"
"Uhm, yeah. Aeryn, I'm bored. See, there you have it." he said.
"Well, I suggest you go and play a game." Aeryn said, not paying further
attention to him.
He sighed.
"What?" Aeryn asked.
"I can't play a game be myself… it wouldn't be fun." John looked at
Aeryn, smiling. She looked back at him and knew instantly what he was
thinking.
"Oh no… I will not play a game with you. Find someone else. Find Rygel…
I'm sure he wants to play." She said, getting up and prepared to dump
the food-cubes.
"Come on Aeryn… I'll let you choose what we're gonna do." John said,
following her through the empty hallways. When she didn't stop and turn
around, he continued.
"We'll do a work-out, you can kick me all you want… I just need
something to do."
She finally stopped and John nearly bumped into her.
"Okay… what where you planning to do?" she said.
"Uhmmm…"
"What!" she said, resisting the urge to say something else.
"I was thinking in the direction of flying the prowler?" he said.
From the look on her face he could tell that it wasn't such a good idea.
"Well, you can fly and I can look?" he cautiously added.
Aeryn sighed. "Okay… we'll fly in the prowler for a while. As long as
you don't start using Erp sayings."
John smiled and together they walked off in the direction of the cargo
bay.
