I'm an idiot, I was reading messages before I did this. Meaning everything I read was going through my mind as I was writing notes, meaning I have a page and a half of notes. So bear with me.
I *like* the opening. It took me a second to figure out what was going on, but no time wasted, and very cool. And those PK uniforms are awesome!
Gotta talk about Larraq. No idea how to spell his name for real, but whoever spelled it like that, it looks cool. Therefore I use it. I like him. I wish I could hate him, but I can't. Plus, he's cute. Which doesn't hurt *at all.*
Love the accent. It's like Ben can't completely get it, but it just sounds cool! Seriously, Ben/John must have had so much fun with this. I mean, John gets to play Peacekeeper. How cool is that? (My word of the day: cool.)
LOVE THE DRD'S!!! That was great! I still want a DRD for Christmas, by the way. I told my mom that and she just looked at me funny.
Oh, great, a PK base in the Uncharted territories. Like *that* isn't a plot device they're going to make a point to use the hell out of.

John called Rygel "Sparky" again. What's up with this? I started counting the Sparky references on my site, that has to say something! (That's okay, I think it's cute.)
Has Rygel always had a hidden escape route in his quarters? Hm...
Okay, I so did not like the bald dude. At all. Just hated him all through the episode. Hated him. Glad he died.
Look, Aeryn's talking about her past! Wow. And she's... flirting... That's okay. I've rationalized it. Stay tuned.
I like Rygel, and yes, I like Chiana. But a great big ::smack:: to both of them!

John was probably gonna do it... But no, the bald dude has to tongue Chiana to infect her. Sigh.

Jeez, what is with all the swearing! Like every second sentence! Sometimes a few in one sentence! Human, alien, whatever. Just all over the place! I think I've been corrupted.
Apparently Aeryn is *not* happy. Though I can't blame her. She's stuck taking orders from John, who's having way too much fun with this when he really has no idea what he's doing. But like I said, he seems to like it.
I love how every time Pilot says "Captain" in reference to John, he like pauses just before he says it ("Yes... Captain.") or kind of mocks him for it. That was cool.
John called Chia "Pip" again. So Rygel's "Sparky" and Chia's "Pip."
Ah! They shot Rygel! Gr...
Okay, John's like freaky when he gets all infected and stuff. That face he makes? ::shudder:: But he's fun like that. Hello, Bad Boy Syndrome! Hm, he unbuttoned the jacket...
He hit Zhaan! What'd he go and do that for! Gr!
And Larraq tells Aeryn she should be a special officer. Now that has *got* to hurt. Again, I'm gonna rationalize it.
Okay, BugInfestedJohn bludgeoned someone to death. Joy.
I love how when everyone comes onto the bridge (I think it was the bridge), and the PK's have the gun pointed to shoot, Aeryn kicks the gun away, protecting everyone. Loved it, loved it, loved it.
I like the whole who-is-it thing? Actually, I was sure it was going to be Aeryn. Cuz I'd seen the thing from Scifi.com where Larraq had a knife to her throat and so I thought Aeryn would be infected, he'd try to kill her, and she'd pass it on to him or something. Didn't happen that way.
I felt so bad for John when he was staring at the PK he killed when he was BugInfestedJohn. And Chia gets MAJOR brownie points there for talking to him.
"Told you." I love that smug little smile she gives him.
Why do I think Moya wasn't happy about all the gunfire?
Okay, Larraq's got the knife to Aeryn, and when I saw that, my heart just like stopped. And I turned the volume way up for that one line, and what I heard was "That Larraq guy, he really liked you. A lot." And then I screamed at the TV.
Then there was D'Argo and John's reactions to Aeryn getting stabbed. They both completely freaked. And I don't have a problem with John leaving, cuz he really didn't have a choice. But D'Argo really impressed me, with how upset he was.
Look! He stayed with her! Ah!
Then there's the whole "closer than you think" line. John's face nearly broke my heart right there. And here comes the rationalization:
K, if any of them had the chance to go back to their old lives, they would. It's pretty much been proven, they all just want to go home. So here's Aeryn, being the PK again, with other PK's. One of them being attracted to her and that she's attracted to (well, duh, he's a hottie). And that one's telling her that she should be a special officer and how her talents are
being wasted, and she knows that isn't even a possibility. Not to mention the guy says he wants her there with him. After that's when we start to see
PissyAeryn. So here it is. At this stage in the J/A relationship, things are still new, they probably have absolutely no clue what's going on, and she sees something she wishes she could live. I think Larraq more represents to her the life she could have, rather than the guy she could have. As for the "closer than you think" thing, it has to say something that she told John about it. She was honest. And that has to say something. Did that whole thing make any sense?

"Why would I ever mention it?"
It's 12:30 at night. Someone explain this to me.
